Where Your Contributions Go
All of the contributions we receive at the Queen of Hearts Foundation go toward saving a woman’s life.
Did you know?
- Among women in the United States, ovarian cancer is the leading cause of death from gynecologic cancers and the fifth leading cause of all cancer deaths.
- The National Cancer Institute estimates that yearly 22,000 women will be diagnosed with ovarian cancer and about 13,500 will die from the disease.
- Currently, there is no reliable method of early detection for ovarian cancer. The mission of the Queen of Hearts Foundation is to find one.
However, there is good news and hope for the future! When ovarian cancer is detected and treated early, the 5-year survival rate is greater than 92%.
